Madison County SPCA Humane Society is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity that receives no tax monies.
MCHS is a no-kill cat and dog receiving shelter funded by donations, fund-raising efforts & nominal fees; we receive no taxpayer monies. MCHS shelters more than 100-115 homeless animals every day and often has some in foster care.
Adoption Fees are as follows:
Dogs under age 7 yrs. $125.00;
Special Breeds under age 7 yrs. $150;
Senior Dogs age 7 yrs. & up are $75
Cats under age 7 yrs. $85.00; cats age 7 yrs. & up are $65
Adopt two pets together & get the 2nd at half price
Senior discount for ages 60 & over for dogs is $75.
Senior discount for ages 60 & over for cats is $65.
--This fee includes spaying / neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine for pets 4 months and older, FIV/FELV test for cats, heartworm test for dogs 7 months and older and worming. Dogs are kept on monthly heartworm prevention. All animals are microchipped prior to leaving for their forever homes and the adopter recieves 30 days of free Pet Insurance
